Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

As Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BGC Partners,
Lee M. Amaitis directs the company’s operations and lead the firm’s expansion throughout Europe, the United States and Asia. Formerly a senior executive of Cantor Fitzgerald and eSpeed, he has had significant experience building financial businesses. Mr. Amaitis played a key role in the recovery of Cantor Fitzgerald and eSpeed after the devastation on September 11, 2001.

Shaun D. Lynn

As President, Mr. Lynn is responsible for expanding BGC’s existing broking businesses across Europe and Asia. Previously, Mr. Lynn was Executive Managing Director of Cantor Fitzgerald International, growing the company’s European and Asian fixed income and derivative broking team by nearly 35% between 2002 and 2004. Mr. Lynn began his career at Cantor Fitzgerald in 1989 as a Bond broker, moving up to lead the Eurobond desk before assuming his first senior management role.

Daniel M. LaVecchia
President - North America

As President of BGC Partners, North America, Daniel LaVecchia oversees all of the company’s North American operations. Along with Lee Amaitis, Chairman and CEO, and Shaun Lynn, President, Mr. LaVecchia is responsible for leading the expansion of BGC as a global wholesale fixed-income, interest rate, foreign exchange, and derivative brokerage firm.

Jean-Pierre Aubin

Jean-Pierre Aubin
President - Continental Europe

Jean Pierre is responsible for the expansion of BGC’s European business from the Partnership’s European headquarters in London, to offices in Paris, Milan and Nyon (Switzerland). He is also President of Listed Products for Europe and the UK. Jean-Pierre began his broking career with Viel-Tradition Group in 1990. After trading futures and options for 10 years he was promoted to run the company’s continental European operations and listed products worldwide until joining BGC in 2005.

Mark Webster
President - Asia Pacific Region

In his current role, Mark has oversight of BGC’s significant expansion plans within the region where the partnership has recently doubled the number of brokers among it existing operations in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore and Sydney.

Mark has 24 years of capital markets experience in broking and management. He joined BGC late in 2004 from ICAP where he was CEO - Asia Pacific and Middle East based in Sydney.
